Weekly Publix Trips

publix_super_savers_button1

Another week, another two trips to Publix!  I had another Rite Aid coupon ($5 off $20) to use on Saturday (SHOUT OUT to Christy for printing it for me!).  I was happy to get a few things that we needed, but didn’t have great coupons for, for example:  Diet Coke, Sunday Brunch items, and Grapes.  Here is what I got:

That is great! So, have you ever had any problems with the cashiers accepting the Rite Aid coupon? I am guessing Publix accepts competitors’ coupons? Wow!

I haven’t had any problems…. yet! The Publix policy is that they accept competitor’s coupons, but it’s up to the individual store manager to determine who is a competitor. I generally go to the same Publix on the weekends and have gotten to know most of the cashiers there. They recognize me and are always super friendly. I do know that a Publix not too far from us has gotten more stringent on what coupons they will accept. They have signs posted that they will only take other GROCERY store coupons. I hope mine doesn’t ever do that!! Taking that $5 off the top is always a great start to saving!!

Thanks for the comment and thanks for stopping by!!
